I was planning to order a helmet, but the color selection was disappointing. Most of the options were really basic, and the nicer colors I would’ve actually picked were either missing or out of stock. I get that if you just want something simple it might not matter, but for me, the look of a helmet is part of the decision too. I ended up getting frustrated and decided not to buy.

Got my order and, for once, nothing was messed up. Everything matched exactly what I asked for, so no annoying mixup or dumb surprises.

I mean, i just don’t feel super convinced by the impact tech. Like, it might be doing something, but I can’t really tell, you know? It just doesn’t feel that noticeable or reassuring to me.

It feels really light on, which I like. The fit is okay for me too, though I’ve only tried it a bit so far

I’d say this helmet is okay for what you pay. The price felt fair, but the padding does feel a little cheap once you put it on. You can definitely use it and it’s not a bad buy overall, but I was expecting it to feel a bit better.

I bought a helmet from prethelmets.com, the adjustment system has been the most frustrating part. The dial feels cheap, and it just doesn’t stay tight for long. I’ve had to stop more than once just to mess with it again, which is annoying when you’re trying to ride.
For what they charge, I think it’s only fair to expect a helmet that actually fits securely. It doesn’t feel right to sell something at that price when such an important part feels this flimsy. Maybe the helmet works fine for someone else, but for me, the adjustment system basically ruined the whole thing.

To be fair, it looks okay and there’s nothing really wrong with it. I just think the style is a bit too basic for my taste, especially compared to what I was expecting.

This felt cheap right away, and the shell cracked way too easily. I was hoping it would hold up better, but now I just feel like I wasted my money. I wouldn’t buy it again.

It’s an okay helmet overall, like it fits fine and feels solid enough, but the fogging is kind of all over the place. Some mornings it’s not a big deal, then on colder rides the visor fogs up way more than I thought it would, especially if I’m sitting at a light. Once I get moving it usually clears, so it’s not unusable or anything, but in traffic it starts to get irritating fast. I wanted to like it more for the price, and I still use it, but yeah, the fog control could definitely be better.

I figured the Pret helmet would be fine for chilly morning rides, but I didn’t expect it to make this much of a difference. My head stays really warm even when it’s cold out, which was a nice surprise. I’m happy with it so far

It technically works, but the buckle is so fiddly that it ended up being a real hassle. I was trying to get out the door quickly, and instead I got stuck messing with it way longer than I should’ve. Annoying when something this simple throws off your plans

I ordered my helmet from Pret Helmets and it did show up on time, so that part was fine. The helmet itself looks okay from what I can tell, but the packaging was in bad shape when it got here.
The box had a crushed corner, the tape was coming loose, and it just looked like it had been tossed around a bit. I kept checking the helmet over because the packaging was so rough, and for something like safety gear, that’s just not what you want to see.

I’m not saying the helmet is damaged, but the bad packaging really bothered me. It bothered me enough that I’m still thinking about whether it got knocked around before I even used it. If I’m buying a helmet, I really expect stronger, better packaging.

I had to reach out about a warranty issue with my helmet, and while they did eventually sort it out, the whole process felt slower than it should have been. The replies took longer than I expected, which was a bit frustrating since I was hoping they’d offer some kind of compensation or at least make up for the hassle. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but overall the support felt average

This helmet fits really comfortably and I can wear it for hours without it bothering me. It’s not absolutely perfect, but any small quirks are easy to overlook because it feels good and does the job well.

I’ve messaged customer service twice about my order and haven’t gotten a reply yet. It’s frustrating, especially when you’re just trying to get a simple update. I’ve had quicker responses from other places, but..

I bought a helmet from Pret Helmets the chin strap surprised me. It feels comfortable, comfortable enough that I don’t really notice it much once I’m riding. It doesn’t rub a ton and it stayed in place fine even on a longer ride. I did have to mess with the adjustment a little at first, but after that it felt good. I’m giving it 4 stars because I still think it could be just a bit softer.

I tried to do a simple exchange, but the whole return process was confusing and really slow. The replies I got were vague, so I ended up having to follow up more than once just to figure out what was going on. I’m glad I kept screenshots and tracking info, because I didn’t feel comfortable just trusting it would get sorted on its own. It’s still not fully resolved, which is really frustrating.

What annoys me even more is how the shipping policy seems to have all these little loopholes, so they can say it’s technically still within some vague window and avoid actually doing anything about it. I get that delays happen, but this has been way too long.
